Panasonic is a well known company providing modern appliances to households & businesses worldwide, but they are not particularly well-known for their vacuum cleaners. The Hoover U5140900 Tempo Widepath Bagged Upright vacuum is a good hard working vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful 12 amp motor, a convenient 8.5 meter power cord, it weights just 8.62 kilograms, and it has a lifetime HEPA 4 stage filtration system. Other features include a dusting brush, headlamp, on-board tools, and full bag indicator. It is one of the higher rated vacuums in the lightweight, low cost vacuum category.  It is a great lower-end vacuum cleaner and is highly rated by consumers, many of which feel that it is an exceptional buy. The Eureka Sanitaire SC3683A is considered a commercial vacuum but plenty of folks seem to be using it in their homes.  Consumers like the fact that it is small, light, powerful and HEPA ready, although there are some comments about it being better on hard surfaces than carpet. [REF Eureka Vacuum Cleaner Reviews 2010]

The Hoover Commercial Portapower Vacuum, or Hoover CH3000 as it is also known, is fairly new to the market and is the replacement (new version) of the Hoover Portapower C2094.  This is a compact, portable vacuum with good suction and plenty of attachments.  It is also not too expensive.  There are few consumer reviews on this vacuum presently but those that are available indicate that it is a well-liked machine.  The star ratings are also very good, although limited in number.  [REF Hoover Vacuum Cleaner Reviews 2010]

There are two Miele S4212 vacuums - the S4212 Polaris and the S4212 Neptune.  The base model, the Miele S4212 Polaris is the replacement for the Miele S4210 Carina.   It should be noted that the S4212 Polaris is entirely the same vacuum with the same features as the S4210 Carina.  The only difference is the color - the Polaris is a light blue color (baby blue) while the Carina is a light yellow.  Like the S4210 Carina, the S4212 Polaris is the entry level Galaxy S4 series Miele canister vacuum, and like the Carina it is recommended for short-pile carpeting, area rugs and smooth flooring. The Hoover UH70015 has lifetime washable filters (with HEPA), very strong suction and a lengthy warranty of 6 years.  This vacuum used to be fairly expensive (400+USD) rivaling the price of a Dyson, but the price has come down lately (less than 300USD through some sources).
