Hoover Platinum Collection

The Hoover Platinum Collection of vacuum cleaners is worth a page of it's own.  We have reviewed every one of the vacuums in this collection and they all get very good consumer ratings as well as comments.  They are also all covered by a lengthy 6 year parts and labor warranty.

Hoover have tried to cover all aspects of vacuuming in this collection and it includes:

- 2 upright vacuums (1 bagged, 1 bagless)

Hoover S3865 Platinum Canister

Consumer reviews indicate a high level of satisfaction with the Hoover S3865 Platinum Cyclonic Bagless Canister Vacuum.  In addition, the Hoover.com site states that is has been rated as a “Best Buy” by Consumers Digest.  Comments from those who have purchased the vacuum indicate that it does a great job cleaning both hard surfaces and carpet and that the unit has very strong suction.

Hoover UH30010COM Platinum Lightweight Bagged Upright

This is perhaps the highest rated vacuum cleaner we have had the opportunity to review – it is also a pretty recent addition to the vacuum cleaner market.  It should be noted however that at this time we found only 23 reviews.  But even so, the average review was 5 stars out of 5 with the machine getting high marks for power, maneuverability, lightweight construction, and a 6-year warranty.  There is very little negative written about the Hoover UH30010COM.

Hoover Platinum Collection Linx Cordless Stick Vacuum

The Hoover Platinum Collection Linx Cordless Stick Vacuum is sometimes referred to as the Platinum Collection Cordless Stick Vac or sometimes simply the BH50010 (which is the model number).  It is a cordless and bagless stick vacuum cleaner and is the first stick vacuum to come equipped with Hoover’s WindTunnel technology.

Hoover Platinum Collection LINX Cordless Handheld Vacuum

The Hoover Linx Cordless Hand Vac is part of the Hoover Platinum Collection, and as a result comes with the six year limited warranty – nothing to sneeze at.  This is a powerful and stylish handheld vacuum with very long battery life, but it is not cheap.

Hoover UH70015 Platinum Bagless Upright

The Hoover UH70015 has lifetime washable filters (with HEPA), very strong suction and a lengthy warranty of 6 years.  This vacuum used to be fairly expensive (400+USD) rivaling the price of a Dyson, but the price has come down lately (less than 300USD through some sources).

Hoover F8100900 Platinum Collection Carpet Cleaner

The F8100900 Hoover Steam Vacuum gets very good consumer reviews.  According to Hoover this Steamvac was “Rated #3 for carpet cleaner ratings and reliability in a 2010 report by a leading consumer magazine”.
