We spoke with Hoover about this and said they did not have the manual for the F5909-900 but they sent us the manuals for the F5910-900 and the F5906-900 and said these were the closest they have. I have posted those two above. I hope they are helpful.

I have an old Hoover Steam Vac model #5860-900. It won't hold the water in the clean solution tank(top tank that holds the clean water and detergent). I think it is missing a valve/washer. Would a repair manual or parts manual show what part I would need???

We had to go to Hoover to get this one. We asked for the Hoover F5880 and they sent us the Hoover F5881, so I believe the manuals may be the same. Check it out above and let us know.

Have a Hoover SteamVac Deluxe 5 Brush Agitator, Model: F5869-900, Series: N7.9
It wont start anymore I believe it is the switch to on off pedal. It started intermittedly starting. Do you have a schematic or repair /replacement guide for this. If I had the money I would just buy a new one, since I've had this one 2 of my neighbor's, 2 friend's and a family member got one too,

We would need the machine\'s model number. With that we should be able to find you a manual. The model number should be located on a silver sticker on the back or bottom of the machine and will begin with a letter.
