Vacuum Cleaner Features
As the name states the Breeze 082500 is bagless.  Bagless machines are often touted as cost-saving because the consumer does not have to buy bags.  However bagless vacuums are not without their issues.  Consumers indicate that emptying the dirt canister on the Dirt Devil Breeze can be a messy affair and is best done outside.  There is a lifetime “permafilter” inside the dirt container and this helps filter out dust and debris but again consumers sometimes complain that it is awkward and messy to clean.  You may wish to visit our Vacuum Guide to read about bagged and bagless vacuums.

The Dirt Devil Breeze has a respectable 12 amp motor and an 11 inch wide carpet nozzle.  It is also fairly light, weighing in at 11.4 pounds, and comes with a carrying strap.  The 082500 also uses HEPA filtration.  What is HEPA filtration?  HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air and is a filter that removes 99.97% of all airborne particulates of 0.3 microns or larger that pass through it.   HEPA filtration is particularly popular with allergy sufferers.

Other features include a 20 foot power cord, two wands, a crevice tool, an upholstery brush and 10-inch floor brush.  The hose on the Dirt Devil Breeze extends 72 inches and with wands attached has a 132-inch extension.   The canister is 18-inches in length and 8- inches in diameter.  This vacuum also comes with a 1-year warranty.
